Where every kid belongs
Sundays at 9 and 11 a.m. for children six weeks old through 5th grade.
Every child deserves the opportunity to know God and His plan for their life.
Calvary Church is a multi-generational church that believes in equipping the next generation here and now through engaging worship, biblical teaching, and a safe, fun environment! Our prayer is that young people learn and grow in their understanding of God and His plan for their life. The goal of our children's ministry is to help kids learn the truth about who God is while helping them understand their unique purpose on this earth.

Before your first Sunday
How do I check in my child at Calvary Kids?
When you arrive, head to one of our check-in stations and talk to a greeter! You will need each child's full name, birthday, grade (if applicable), allergy information, and phone number. A parent must be present at check-in.
What safety measures does Calvary Kids have for children?
At check-in, you will receive a sticker for your child and a parent tag for yourself. This tag has a matching number with your child and is required to be given at pickup. If you lose your tag, please go to the check-in desk for help!
What happens if my child needs me during service?
If your child has an urgent matter during service, we will contact you via the phone number provided at check-in.
Where should I park?
We recommend parking and entering Door 1! Once you enter, families with infants through three years will head to the right for nursery check-in. Families with children four years and up will head to the left and down the hall for kids check-in.
Serve with Calvary Kids
Investing in the next generation is one of the most rewarding ways to serve. If you're interested in volunteering with Calvary Kids, we would love to meet you!

Have a little one with special needs?
We have a ministry just for them on Sunday mornings!

Is your kid interested in Junior Bible Quiz?
Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) is a unique program designed to help kids learn the Bible, live out what it says, grow a love for the Scriptures, and have fun through group fellowship. Through JBQ, students are able to learn Bible facts as well as foundational church doctrine. Sundays at 9 a.m. in Room 314.

A New Home for Calvary Kids
We believe kids aren't just the church of tomorrow. They're an important part of the church today. That's why we're creating a place kids can't wait to run to each week, a space designed for fun, friendship, and life-changing encounters with Jesus. Take a look at what's coming and the vision behind our Kids Ministry remodel.
Dedicate your child
We believe in honoring the Imago Dei in every child and in honoring their parents as they guide them throughout their lives. Child Dedication is an opportunity to publicly declare your intention to raise your child in a Christian home. It is a time when parents commit to abiding by biblical principles and standards. By participating, you are dedicating your child to God, and dedicating yourselves as parents to Christ and the church.
Offered during Sunday services.

The people who lead Calvary Kids

Landon Sloan
Children's Pastor
Calvary has been my home church ever since my family moved to Illinois in 2020. I love all things related to sports and being outdoors. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Southeastern University, and a master's degree in mental health and wellness from Grand Canyon University.

Don Agnew
Director of Kids Ministry
My wife and I have called Calvary home for 12 years and I've had the privilege of serving Calvary Kids for the last four. Walking alongside kids as they discover Jesus and seeing families grow together has become my greatest passion. The church's future depends on investing in the next generation, and my wife and I are honored to be part of that mission. Alicia and I have been married for 10 years, and the Lord has blessed us with two beautiful children, Lola and Evan.
